I'm craving peanut butter choc chip cookies. I love them. I made some the other day but everyone else ate them in like an hour :(
On another note, I'm house sitting with my friend for two and a half weeks, starting Wednesday. Not sure how often I'll get to use the internet, so this might be my last update for a while. Not sure. Aaaand, that is about all I have to say right now. Oh, and I am sunburnt. Badly. I went to the rodeo on Saturday, wore loads of sunscreen, but may as well have not bothered for all the protection it gave. Had a waterfight while we were there, and nearly got chased by a cow. All in all, nice day.

But moving on! I'm seriously confused as what to do. I am having a gap year this year, but now that it is getting so close to the new year I'm not sure I want to go to Uni next year. I think I might defer for another year and just work. I'm considering travelling a bit. I can't afford international travel, but perhaps I could travel around Aus, working as I go. I'm sure you can do that, can't you? I dunno. I just don't know what to do.
Also my best friend hasn't mentioned her birthday, which is six days away. We've always had sleepovers in the past, and normally we plan in advance, but she hasn't mentioned it. I'm too scared to bring it up in case she doesn't want me coming over this year. I'm making her a present regardless, but I'm so scared we might be drifting apart a bit. I don't wanna lose her :(
Okay, I really better stop carrying on now. But I shall attempt to keep my journal more updated from now on!
Love to all! xxx

Okay, so I commented on my favourite LJ moment of 2008 on that thread that was out in the news, AND LJ GAVE ME A A PAID ACCOUNT!!! FOR TWO WHOLE MONTHS!! *Faints*
I honestly feel like the luckiest girl in the world right now. I think I might honestly just cry.
Okay, *deep breath* I shall go and have a glass of water, and then I WILL UPLOAD MORE USERPICS!! HA! I CAN HAVE 30!!! *Falls off chair in excitement*
I love you, LiveJournal. I really, honestly do.

There's a pic under the cut if you're interested. (Yes, I look angry in it because I was angry!! And my nose looks big, sob...)

Two catchphrases from Top Gear can be appropriate right now:
1. Ambitious, but rubbish.
2. That's not gone well.

Hmm... Richard Armitage would be pretty cool. Also Rik Mayall if he was nothing like his characters in The Young Ones or Bottom, but if he was being more... human. One of the Top Gear hosts would be hilarious. Stephen Moyer. He's not too well known, but he's pretty good.
But really? If I were in charge? We'd have James May as the Doctor, Richard Hammond as the companion, and Jeremy Clarkson as the Master. Actually, I may just have to write this down sometime....
I got a really expensive laptop computer from Mum, Dad, my grandma, aunt and uncle. They all chipped in so I could have a good one, not just a basic one. I'm so thrilled, I'm just speechless. And my parents even put a little thing in the newspaper today saying Happy Birthday!! They really wanted to make my 18th special, and they've certainly done that :) And it's not even midday yet.
I'm having two friends over today but I'm having a proper party on the 3rd of Jan. I really can't wait!!!
Also, Happy New Year everyone!! I honestly hope you all have enjoyed 2008, and that 2009 will be even better :) Take care, stay safe and remember to smile. God bless y'all, or if you don't believe in that, allow the Flying Spaghetti Monster to bless y'all instead :)

I think that the full moon does indeed affect our behaviour, but perhaps more psychologically than anything. We hear a lot about the full moon and all the myths etc, and it plays on our minds until it becomes almost a self-fulfilling prophecy. A bit like Friday 13th; we get told it is an unlucky day, and so if something even slightly bad happens on that day we blame the date, when we'd barely even notice if it happened any other day of the year.

Well, I've found out why my beloved James May isn't coming to Australia for Top Gear Live... He's wanted by our cops!!! *Giggle* Bless the poor darling.

On another note, I went to a massive horse show the other day and there was a stallion parade. I fell in love with this beautiful Gypsy cob stallion, one of the only two in my state. They were imported from the UK, and this particular stud farm also imported a Friesian stallion from the Netherlands. They must be loaded! Or very in debt.
Umm, that's about all I've got to say. Oh, except that my ex has turned into a complete c*ck and turns out he was cheating on me. Oh well, sod him. That leaves me free to go out and find someone new. And better. Hmmph.

Do widzenia, for now.
P.S. I just realised: I used three different languages in this journal entry. English, obviously. French when I said 'le' instead of 'the' and Polish! I didn't realise I could speak French. Hum. Au revoir? Isn't that French? Okay, that's about all I know how to say in French... I shall go now... Tata!! xxx

I grabbed a handful of grass but she rejected it, so I knew something was REALLY wrong coz she's a greedy guts. I figured it was colic from the way she was acting, and plus her tummy was all gurgly, so I told Mum, who called Dad to come home, and then called Misty's proper owner. (She lives with me and I look after her like she's my own, but Kelvin still has the papers and is legally her owner). Dad and Kel got there ASAP, as well as a few other horsey people, while I kept Misty walking.
She got worse, started groaning and panting, and everytime we stopped, even for a sec, she tried to go down. We gave her a shot of Bute to dull the pain, but it took a while to work, and we also made her drink a bottle of beer to try and get the gas out to clear her tummy a bit. Basically, we spent about five hours walking her and hoping for the best, and thankfully she improved. She guzzled down a bran mash this morning and pooped, so she's clearly feeling better, but we're keeping a close eye on her.
No idea what caused it, because her feeding routine was the same as every other day, so haven't the foggiest where this came from. It was terrifying though, and I'm just glad my baby girl is alright. Well, I say baby, but she's about twenty. Lol. Bless her, I love her :)

It really doesn't feel like it though. I still have to go back on Monday and Wednesday for stuff, have an essay to do today, graduation is Tuesday, the 10th is our art/photography exhibition, then English tutorials the week after, then exams. But classes have finished, so yeah.
I got rather emotional when I hugged a few teachers. I hope I can manage to keep in touch with everybody I care about.
Sigh. The end of an era. Now what do I do with my life? Get a job and become normal.. Ick, reality... Oh, that reminds me of a song. Hole in my Shoe, by Nigel Planer as Neil Pye from Neil's Heavy Concept Album. Yes, I'm a bit lame, but that song is hilarious. Anyways, I'm going now. It's about quarter to seven in the morning and I'm tired. I need a cuppa tea.

Hmmm, what else? Oh yes, I really wanna post some of my stories on here and I think I will soon. I'm still trying to figure out how to post on the community for Top Gear Slash. I've got no idea. If anyone can help me it'd be greatly appreciated!! Speaking of Top Gear, I don't really like Top Gear Aus. It's rubbish. But then again, most spin-offs are. Oh, Torchwood is brilliant, and that's a spin-off of Doctor Who.
And I've just realised.... I'm rambling. I'm supposed to be getting ready for my cousin's birthday dinner. Le sigh. I'll go now. Cheers and love to anyone who actually bothers to read this!!

He did some basic groundwork with her (turns out she's just used to getting her own way since I lost confidence and has just become spoilt and pushy). He just worked her in a rope halter and training lead, teaching her to respect him. Lots of going in circle, flexing, turning hindquarters, shoulder stuff, backing up etc. Then he slowly worked up to getting on her BAREBACK! This horse who likes to play up and never ridden bareback before was behaving like an angel.
After a while he told me to get the saddle and I got back on her! After almost two years I got back in the saddle (was absolutely terrified at first) and rode her in a rope halter and lead. It was so totally awesome, and she was really good. So needless to say I'm very pleased with myself!

And I drew an eggplant!! I'm serious, so don't laugh. Mum bought a really cool eggplant and it was just so cute and shiny, so I sketched it. I'm gonna upload it to my deviantART account, so keep an eye out for eggplants!!
